Trying to eat a rice puff..

He can't quite get it in there yet, but he sure tries. He gets one in his fist, but then just sucks on his fist. :) The pediatrician said it would be good practice. We find many soggy, drool victimized puffs, in his swing.....He'll get there.

Robert - Almost 7 months!

Here is just a short clip of a roll and of him finding his pacifier. He's great at putting it in his own mouth now. :) Enjoy.

Mmmmm....Chocolate....

While eating chocolate fudge brownie Ben & Jerry's I decided to put a teeny tiny drop of ice cream on my spoon...let's just say he takes after me with ice cream he LOVES it!

Baby Babble - 6 months

Robert LOVES to talk, here he is! He wanted to say hi to everyone.

Blindes are funny.....5 months

So I was closing the blindes and when I dropped the plastic thing when I was finished, Robert just started cracking up! He thought that was the funniest thing in the world. Enjoy. :)

4 months old!

So the big boy is now about 16 pounds and 27 inches tall! He is in the 97th percentile for his height (not sure why if you look at me and Curt) and in the 50th percentile for his weight! so we have a tall baby?

He is doing so many things these days! He can roll, pull, do push ups, fake cry and he LOVES to stand (while being held of course). He laughs and smiles and is the most adorable baby I've ever seen in my life, and not because I'm biased! ;)

His personality grows more and more everyday and we love him soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much!!

He is doing well in daycare, he likes to look at all the other babies, especially the cute little girl babies, only about 7 months left and he'll be in the next room up where all the "walking babies" graduate to.

He's been sick a couple of times, but just makes him tougher in the long run...I hope!!

10 weeks old!!

Baby Robert is now 10 weeks old! How time flies. We are thinking he's near 13 pounds now and looking chubbier every day. He has been very vocal these past few days, some sounds sound like coo's and others sound like he's yelling at us. He's a halarious kid! Such a personality! I can tell he's going to be a smarty pants, just like his mommy. :)

He is getting much better with playing with his toys he talks to them and cat bat them and nearly get them every time he tries.

Oh yah, one more great thing to share.....HE SLEPT THRU THE NIGHT!! The past two nights, he has slept from 10pm to 5am, which is a slice of heaven for two tired parents! We could not be more proud! Not sure what we're doing right, but hopefully we can keep doing it! :)

8 weeks old!!

Robert is now 8 weeks old! He is smiling a bit more (still haven't been able to get a good photo though). He is growing strong, I'm thinking he's like 11 1/2 pounds now! He is already wearing 3 month clothes! I still don't understand how they come up with the sizing for these things. He is getting ready for Halloween and we just got our pumpkins yesterday, we will carve them sometime this week and take plenty of pics. During play time he can reach out and touch his toys more now, since his eye/hand coordination is imporoving and he gets a kick out of it when he makes them move. Overall he is proving to be a pretty fussy boogar, but everyday he gets better. :) This week he has been doing about 5 hour sleep stretches, so hopefully that will get longer and longer, or at least stay at 5! :) We figured out that if we top off his feeding RIGHT before bedtime, he holds out longer! Way to go buddy!!

Baby Robert 7 weeks

6 weeks old!

Baby Robert is doing great! He can roll from his back to his left side, so that is impressive, he hasn't smiled yet (only when he's falling asleep) but that should happen VERY soon! I will capture that moment for sure and share it with everyone. He is not sleeping through the night yet, but he let's us have a 4 hour stretch and then a 2 1/2 hour stretch, so that is nice of him. :)

We are just doing our thing during the day, eating, pooping, peeing, playing, sleeping, strolling and then eating again. So we are having a good ol' time. :) I only have 6 weeks left to hang with him so we better live it up! I'll post more pics during the week.

Faces of cuteness

5 weeks old!!

So we have been lucky enough to have a neighbor right across the street that had a baby girl in July. It has been nice to talk to her about our sleepless nights and everything else that is going on with Baby Robert. She goes back to work on Monday (bummer) but we will still walk when she gets off work. :) Robert is doing great, he weighed 9 lbs on Monday and is still eating like a champ. He slept for a 4 hour stretch last night, so that was AWESOME!! Hoping for some more of those nights. :) Here are a few pics, that is his girlfriend Evie in the stroller next to him. Her full name is Evelyn.

Finally home at 3 weeks old!!!!

So our cutie patootie finally got to come home on Friday, September 18th, 3 weeks after his birth to the day! We are sooo very happy and feel soo very lucky to have him in our lives. Aside from being a zombie from lack of sleep (hospital schedule) and a constant milk machine, things are going great! We went to the pediatrician this morning and he weighs 8 lbs 2 ounces (he was down to 6 pounds 7 ounces in the NICU) and he's growing strong, eating like a true champ! (just like his mommy). Thank you everyone for all your well wishes and prayers, I know they helped in getting our boy home with us. :) Much love to you all.
