16 week belly pic

So I finally went shopping for big belly clothes! I figured I shouldn't go another week walking around work with my pants unbottoned and partially unzipped...not too classy. :)

Looks like I still got a while to catch up with Curt, but maybe any day now! :) Baby Greene Bean can hear this week, mostly stuff like my heart beating, blood and food gushing around and really loud outside noises. It will be more developed in the coming weeks, so Curt wants to be sure we listen to some heavy metal to get an early start! :)......oh joy... :)

15 week belly pic

So this week, people at work have actually started to say they can see a bump coming on. Prior to that, I guess they just felt bad for me cause I was still carrying around Thanksgiving weight.....who knows.... :)

I'm catching up to Curt, any day now..I'll surpase him. :)

14 week belly pic

So now we are at 14 weeks, Baby Greene now has fingerprints and can taste stuff! Mostly sweet or sour things. Greene Bean is now about 4 inches long and can swallow fluid and professionally suck their thumb. Most of the sickness is gone, but headaches are still a dear friend of mine. My belly is getting to the point where regular pants don't fit so good, but maternity clothes are out of the question! Guess we'll give it a few more weeks. :)

10 weeks 3 day ultrasound

At our 10 week ultrasound, we discovered we were having an alien child, nanoo nanoo. Baby Greene's heart rate was 180 beats per minute and we could see the little hands and feet.

Thumb sucking maniac!

Last Monday we had our 12 week ultrasound, this is the time where they check to see if the baby's spine measures normal, determining whether or not Baby Greene has increased risks for any genetic disorders. The only disorder that Baby Greene may have is a stubby thumb from all that sucking! :) Results came back perfect.
